Polk County FFA plant teams qualify for state competition

The Polk County High School FFA participated May 2 in the Western Regional FFA Rally at Haywood Community College.

The horticulture team placed first in its division and the nursery landscape and floriculture teams placed second in their divisions. All teams qualified for the NCFFA State Finals to be held in Raleigh on June 20-22.

John Vining assisted the teams in preparing for the regional event.
