The public is invited the Community Chorus’ annual meeting, set for 7 p.m. Monday, June 19, at Tryon Presbyterian Church, 430 Harmon Field Road in Tryon.

Members will elect a slate of officers for 2017-18, and new members of the board of directors.

The guest director for the 2017 Christmas concert will also be announced. All interested people are invited to attend. Refreshments will be served.

The Carolina Community Chorus is a 501(c)(3) not for profit organization that performs two concerts each year, Spring and Christmas, to benefit the Rotary Club of Tryon Scholarship Fund. Rehearsals for the Christmas Concert begin at 6:30 p.m., October 2, at Tryon Presbyterian Church. The Christmas Concert is scheduled for 3 p.m. Sunday, December 10, at Polk County High School
