Kenneth Conwill Alexander, Sr.

Kenneth Conwill Alexander, Sr., 74, died at his home in Springdale, Ark. on May 25, 2017. Kenny was born, raised and lived for 64 years in Greenville, Miss. before moving to Arkansas. Kenny served his country with the Dixie Division of the U.S. Army National Guard for six years.

He leaves his wife of 53 years, Fay Prince Porter Alexander, three children and their families: Kenneth Conwill Alexander, Jr. and Mimi Alexander and their sons Matthew Alexander and Madison Alexander of Sewanee, Tenn. and Tryon, N.C.; Carolyn (Alexander) and Mark Hatton, and their children Alex and Abby of Jacksonville, Fla.; Lucy (Alexander) and Eddie Maples, their daughter Kendall and her son Porter Scheiderman of Springdale, Ark.

A memorial service will be held at St. James’ Episcopal Church, Greenville, Miss. on Sunday, June 4, at 2 p.m. with visitation to follow in the parish hall.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be sent to St. James’ Episcopal Day School, 1026 South Washington Avenue, Greenville, MS 38701; St. Thomas’ Episcopal Church, 2898 S. 48th St, Springdale, AR 72762; or Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Road, Springdale, AR 72762.
