Cleveland Community College held their commencement ceremonies on May 10 at the James B. Petty Amphitheater on campus in Shelby, N.C. Among those receiving degrees was Jonathan Robert Price, son of Robbie and Sheila Price, of Columbus. Jonathan received dual degrees: an Associate of Applied Science in Criminal Justice and an Associate of Science. He was a 2015 graduate of Polk County High School where he was a recipient of a two-year scholarship from the Tryon Rotary Club and the Puddin’ Hill Scholarship from Polk County Community Foundation, both of which helped to turn his college dreams into a reality. Jonathan has been accepted to several universities and will pursue his Bachelor’s Degree in Emergency Administration/Management starting in the fall. (photo submitted by Sheila Price)
