Art teacher Cathey Stoney stands by collage panels created by Landrum High School students. The students’ work was part of The UNITY Project, a community-wide initiative to define what “unity” means through multimedia collage. Over 150 individuals from across Polk County and Landrum participated in the project, led by John Wilkins. The UNITY Project was generously supported by the Polk County Community Foundation and is on display through June 17 at Tryon Fine Arts Center. (photo submitted by The UNITY Project)
