On Friday, May 12, Sunny View Elementary School gladly welcomed back its PCHS graduating seniors for a special “Senior Walk.” As the students walked back into their elementary school, they were greeted by hallways decorated with posters and pictures of their elementary school days, and lines of students and staff who enthusiastically wished them well.

At a short assembly, the seniors were congratulated, and were given Sunny View panther paw medals and candy treat bags (with meanings behind the candies). They enjoyed a special slide show of their days at Sunny View, and each one also told about his/her future plans. Principal Kevin Weis encouraged current Sunny View students to do their best and to look into the future when they will be in the seniors’ shoes.

The seniors were given a send-off by walking back to their bus through a canopy of bubbles.
