Green River Baptist Church, 2880 Ken Miller Rd. in Rutherfordton (Green Creek Community of Polk County), will celebrate their annual Memorial Day/Homecoming on Sunday, May 28.

Sunday School begins at 9:45 a.m. with morning worship beginning at 10:50 a.m.

The speaker for morning worship will be Josh Pruitt, Minister of Education at West Point Baptist Church and a former member of Green River Baptist Church.

A covered dish lunch at the church will follow morning worship and there will be no evening service or activities. Everyone is welcome.
