The City of Saluda congratulated city manager Jon Cannon, during the city’s meeting last week, for becoming a certified city manager. Saluda met May 8 and congratulated Cannon for his achievement. Cannon received his certification from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he traveled one week a month for the past eight months. The city gave Cannon a $600 bonus for his achievement.
