Saluda Outfitters was officially welcomed to the community with a ribbon cutting by the Carolina Foothills Chamber of Commerce and members of the board on May 4 with staff, family and friends to help celebrate.
The new outdoor adventure specialty store, located in a newly restored log cabin at 435 E. Main St. in Saluda, is a destination for active individuals looking for a varied selection of apparel, footwear, recreation equipment and supplies. The spacious building also allows room for a small coffee and sandwich bar, and now offers local craft beers and a selection of wines.
Owner Ryan Griffin has hired manager Susan Bigley of Saluda to operate the store, along with two part-time sales assistants. The store is also home to H2O Dreams offering certified water sports training.
