The audience will receive a special treat — a mother/daughter piano duet by Mimi Child Traxler and Elizabeth Child — at the Foothills Music Club’s “A Sunday Serenade” at Foothills Equestrian Nature Center located at 3381 Hunting Country Rd. in Tryon on Mother’s Day, May 14 at 4 p.m. Each one will also be performing individually or accompanying another performer. The afternoon will include a wide variety of musical selections featuring vocalists and instrumentalists. The program will be followed by a reception with food and wine.
