Four Tryon churches provide collaborative children summer program

The Congregational Church of Tryon, Tryon United Methodist Church, St. Luke’s Christian Methodist Episcopal and Garrison Chapel Baptist Church will provide a collaborative children’s summer program July 12-15. The program is entitled, “Maker Fun Factory VBS: Created by God, Built for a Purpose.” A light meal will be served at 5:30 p.m. and activities take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
The purpose of the program is to provide a free, faith-based summer program.
Kids will meet new friends and experience mentor relationships with significant adults and older youth.
