Polk County Schools will hold a preschool enrollment event May 8. Parents and guardians will be able to both learn about Pre-Kindergarten and complete enrollment at this session, which will last two hours. Snacks and activities will be provided. All children who turn four before August 31, 2017 are eligible for the preschool program, as are some children who turn three before August 31, 2017. The session will be held at Saluda Elementary at 4:30 p.m.

Parents and guardians attending one of the meetings should bring a birth certificate, proof of residence and proof of income for any child they plan to enroll. Applications will also be available at the meeting or can be obtained now at each school and returned to the Pre-K office in Stearns Education Center in Columbus prior to the information session.
