The Blue Ridge Ringers, western North Carolina’s most well-known community handbell ensemble, will perform in concert at Landrum Presbyterian Church on Sunday, May 7 at 4 p.m.

The Blue Ridge Ringers ring five octaves of handbells and handchimes. Under the direction of Robert Currier, they have performed for many groups and organizations in Henderson, Transylvania, Polk and Buncombe counties and with the Hendersonville Symphony Orchestra and the Brevard Chamber Orchestra.

The ringers will perform a variety of musical selections, ranging from spirituals, popular themes, sacred music and original compositions for handbells.
