Tickets for the Foothills Music Club’s (FMC) Sunday Serenade Fundraiser on May 14 at 4 p.m. at FENCE can be purchased at the Bookshelf in Tryon or from any FMC member. Seating is limited, so tickets should be purchased soon. All proceeds from this special event will benefit the FMC Young Musicians Scholarship Program. Each year the FMC awards thousands of dollars to talented music students.

Area residents can look forward to an afternoon of entertainment, food, and wine. The concert will feature members of the Foothills Music Club and the program will include a variety of musical selections. Brenda Quilling, Marcy Hagen and Jeanette Comer will present vocal numbers, including songs from opera and Broadway.

Instrumentalists performing on the program are flutist Elaine Creasy Grella and bassoonist Karen Molnar, who will be playing selections by Bach, Bizet, and other composers. Piano soloists and accompanists include Carole Bartol, Jeanette Shackelford, Mimi Child Traxler and Elizabeth Child.

A reception will immediately follow the concert.
