Anders Krarup, 23, is Tryon’s newest American citizen as of Friday, April 28. Originally from Gladsaxe, Denmark, Krarup attended his Naturalization Ceremony in Charlotte with 48 others from 29 different countries. Holding his Certificate of Naturalization and American flag, Krarup says he is “relieved” the process is over, and he now “feels like I have a place to call home.” He says his friends call him “American Anders” now.
