Thermal Belt Outreach Ministry receives emergency dental care grant funds

Thermal Belt Outreach Ministry (Outreach) was awarded a $4,000 Dr. William Bosien Fund Grant from the Polk County Community Foundation to help provide families access to emergency dental care. Many families without medical or dental insurance put off dental care due to the out of pocket expense. For the past 10 years, Outreach has partnered with Collins Dental Center to help families defray these costs by assisting with expenses.

“We are so grateful to Dr. Bosien and the Polk County Community Foundation for generously providing this medical and dental fund to care for the underserved,” said Client Services Manager Michelle Reedy.
