The 01 Men’s Rutherford Rumble Soccer Team came home with U-16 1st Division Title this past weekend after playing, undefeated, in the Myrtle Beach Coast Spring Classic tournament.

Head coach Joshua Trejo said, “We are very humbled over winning the title. The boys played in this tournament when I first started coaching but we didn’t get the outcome we had hoped for, but to come back this year and win is a feeling myself or the boys can’t describe. My team has worked extremely hard this season and we would like to thank everyone for their support.

“We have always based our team around being a family, and this kind of commitment to one another is what made our success possible. I would personally like to thank God for this opportunity and for putting these boys in my life. They are a great team and I am so proud of them.”
