The Tryon Fire Department is scheduled to burn the house on Tryon Little Theater (TLT) property at the intersection of Hwy. 108 and U.S. 176. Tryon Fire Chief Geoff Tennant told town council this week the burning will begin at 6 a.m. Saturday and is expected to be complete by 10 a.m. Tennant said drivers should be cautious in the area and people should be aware there will be heavy smoke. TLT bought the property last year to construct a future black box theater. Volunteers were scheduled to meet Thursday to save the daffodils and other flowering plants and bulbs around the house.
