Now in its fourth year, Showcase of Excellence at Tryon Fine Arts Center is making it easier to celebrate high school artists.

“Self Portrait” by Polk County High School artist Dylan Siniard is included in Showcase of Excellence at TFAC. Chose the best Showcase of Excellence artwork by ‘liking’ your favorite piece on the Tryon Fine Arts Center Facebook page. (photo submitted by Michelle Fleming)

The community is invited to visit the Tryon Fine Arts Center Facebook page at facebook.com/tryonarts and vote for their favorite young artist by “liking” the image of the artwork. The piece with the most likes will be announced at the reception and live art auction on Sunday, April 23 at 4 p.m. at TFAC.

“The incredible submissions have been professionally juried and awarded,” said Michelle Fleming, marketing manager of TFAC. “But we wanted to make the exhibit more interactive and with a little more fun by inviting the community to vote on our Facebook page. These students should be very proud of their work, and this is another opportunity for them to be appreciated.”
