Fresh vegetable distribution at Outreach April 7

Published 4:30 pm Thursday, March 30, 2017

Outreach is excited to partner with MANNA FoodBank through their Express and Nudge programs to bring a MANNA Express truck filled with fresh vegetables to Outreach on April 7.

The vegetables Outreach receives will be determined the week of the distribution, depending on what MANNA has in large supply.

In addition to distributing fresh vegetables to all who come by, MANNA Nudge staff will be on site hosting cooking demos and taste tests and handing out recipes to give attendees new ideas about how to prepare these foods. There will also be a nutritionist available to answer questions and consult on healthy food habits and choices.
