Polk County Democratic Party will be hosting its annual county convention on Saturday, April 1. The convention is being held in the Steps to Hope community room. The community room is downstairs, across from the Columbus Post Office.

The event starts at 9 a.m. with a free Women’s Club big country breakfast. It continues at 9:30 a.m. with the election of new party officers. 

“In addition, come hear about the exciting wave of political activism that is happening across the country and in our own county,” urges Pat Salomon, Polk County Democratic Party chair.
