I write related to continuing concern about the Affordable Care Act. I have been in healthcare for 37 years and while I fully support a single payer system, “it ain’t gonna happen.” Although the American Healthcare Act never came to a vote, this is more than ever a reason to muster bipartisan support for fixing the ACA so that it remains solidly in place. The law has flaws that need to be addressed. We cannot be distracted by a “win” that was facilitated by ultra-conservatives that would seek to gut the legislation and place marginalized populations further at risk.

Please write your Members of Congress  –  ask them to outreach their colleagues in this important effort.
