Ethan Fullam of Columbus shared in first place honors with his Rube Goldberg contraption as part of a recent STEM project held at Lake Lure Classical Academy. Ethan is a fifth grade student at the charter school, which serves students in Polk, Henderson, and Rutherford counties. Ethan, pictured with activity sponsor Dr. Jim Kokoruda, designed, built, and successfully tested a Rube Goldberg project which is meant to be a whimsical way of making the simple “complicated.” For more information on Lake Lure Classical Academy visit llca.teamcfa.school.
