Landrum’s Operation Hope makes renovation progress

The transitional board met on Feb. 28. We saw the new ministry section starting to take shape as a result of the hard work done by the Swofford Career Center. They started the center wall that will divide the store into two parts. Electrical connections were installed in this new wall. We plan to locate ministry areas on the left as you enter the store. On the right, we will have a smaller version of our thrift store.

The proceeds from the sale of goods in this store help support the work of helping people in need in our area.

We will have a winter clearance sale March 16-18 from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. Any winter clothing that remains will be sent to a mission in Kentucky where there is a great need for help. We will start accepting donations for nice, clean spring items on Monday, March 20 through Wednesday, March 22 from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. We need volunteers to get prepared for this sale and collection.
