Free SCORE seminar at ICC Polk

If you are running a small business or nonprofit group, or thinking about starting one, e-marketing will be essential to your success. SCORE and the ICC Small Business Center invite you to their free e-marketing seminar with SCORE Certified Mentor Dr. Dan Norris, Thursday, March 16, 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Isothermal Community College, 1255 Mills Street in Columbus.

With a Ph.D. in instructional technology and master’s degree in corporate communications, Dr. Norris has over 30 years experience in helping businesses take advantage of information technology. His workshop will help you develop clear goals, build e-contact lists targeting your market, simplify jargon used by many e-marketing companies, refine your e-campaign, (e.g., newsletters, promotions) and measure and apply results to your next effort.

SCORE is a 501(c) (3) non-profit resource partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration. Founded in 1964, the name was an acronym for Service Corps of Retired Executives. The relevance of the acronym has diminished since the corps has expanded to include active business professionals who want to help businesses and nonprofit groups thrive in their communities.
