Living healthy with diabetes series starts March 16 at library

The Polk County Library, 1289 W. Mills St., Columbus, will host a Living Healthy with Diabetes series March 16, 23, 30, April 6, 20 and 27 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Each session assists participants in developing better self–management skills while discussing topics such as managing diabetes symptoms; making better food choices; reading food labels; the importance of physical activity; and much more.

The workshop is funded through Region C, Area Agency on Aging and is free to the public. Those who attend the workshop will receive a free book and CD to accompany the course.
