Amateurs and professionals, 18 and older, are invited to enter as many photos as they want no later than March 15. Rescue success photos are portraits or candids of a horse, pony, mule, donkey, cat, kitten, dog, or puppy that has been adopted from a rescue organization or otherwise rescued, showing that the animal is safe, healthy, and loved. Three categories to enter and win $100, $50, or $25 in each category of equine, feline, and canine. Best of Show also wins an additional $100. Winners will be shown in the May issue of Life in Our Foothills magazine. All entry fees go to the Foothills Humane Society and its equine division FERA.
