Food and music go together like rhythm and blues, and the sixth annual Chase Away the Blues offers the best of both on Saturday, March 4. Tryon International Equestrian Center (TIEC) will sponsor the exclusive Patron’s Lounge, providing heavy hors d’oeuvres and a full bar as patrons enjoy an evening of non-stop music and dancing in three different venues from 5:30 – 11 p.m.

The Patron’s Lounge will be located in Tryon Fine Arts Center’s (TFAC) Gallery I, an intimate space for Chase Away the Blues attendees to relax while enjoying the event.

“I have always been a blues patron, since it offers a broader experience – to meet with friends and enjoy great food and beverages in a blues club setting during the evening,” said TFAC board member Scott Pleune. “With so much wonderful music and activity going on through the building all night, it is really nice to have a quiet place to relax for a few minutes.”

The master chefs of Tryon Resort will provide a delicious variety of filling appetizers for attendees to munch on, including a steamship round of beef that will be hand carved for the evening. The Patron’s Lounge also includes exclusive access to a full bar.

Tickets for the Patron’s Lounge are a special way to enjoy the night of great blues music in three venues at TFAC. Blues legend Mac Arnold will headline Chase Away the Blues, with Jim Peterman Band, Brandon Turner and Freddie Vanderford, Shane Pruitt and Tuesday’s Sermon, and Daryle Ryce performing throughout the night.

As one of TFAC’s largest fundraisers, Chase Away the Blues helps ensure that TFAC continues to bring affordable, world-class arts programming to the Foothills community.

Tickets are available now for Chase Away the Blues by visiting tryonarts.org or calling TFAC at 828-859-8322.
