Every two seconds someone in this country needs blood. St. Luke’s Hospital is helping make sure that blood is available by sponsoring a blood drive on Thursday, March 9, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

By sponsoring a blood drive, St. Luke’s Hospital is helping save and improve the lives of individuals in need of blood. In addition, their sponsorship ensures that a safe blood supply is available at all times for all members of the community.

Donors of all types are needed to help provide more than 1,500 units of blood each day to meet the needs of patients in our area hospitals. Donors must be at least 17 years of age, weigh a minimum of 110 pounds, and be in good general health. A photo ID or donor card is required to donate. All blood donors will receive a free sweatshirt, $10 Walmart gift Card, and 200 TBC Reward Points. Please call (828) 233-5302 to schedule your appointment.
