The Western N.C. Quilters Guild will be celebrating National Quilt Day with a quilting exhibit on Saturday, March 18 at the Henderson County Library auditorium. Hours are 10 a.m.. to 4 p.m.

Members were challenged to make a table runner with the theme of “A Nice Place to Live.”  These will be displayed. Many of the table runners will be donated to Habitat for Humanity.

Visitors to the exhibit will vote for their favorites and ribbons will be awarded at the end of the day.

Admission is free.
