Mr. and Mrs. Gary Turner of Landrum, S.C., announce the engagement of their daughter, Amy Michelle Turner, to Charles Abraham Thomas, son of Mr. and Mrs. Abraham Thomas of Inman, S.C. A February 2018 wedding is planned in Charleston.

Ms. Turner, a graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina medical school, is a pediatric gastroenterology fellow at Boston Children’s Hospital. Mr. Thomas was graduated from the University of South Carolina and is employed as a research operations manager at Dana Farber Cancer Institute. He is currently working on a Masters of Business Administration and Finance at Northeastern University. The couple resides in Boston, Mass.
