The Polk County Public Library has set up a display on the lower level illustrating “love at first line” with various books wrapped in assorted heart-themed wrapping paper. Each wrapped book has its first line on a sticker on the front and visitors can guess which book is wrapped. Also for Valentine’s Day, a second display with the staff’s favorite romantic novels is set up at the library’s entrance.
