William “Bill” Ervin Bradey, 86, of Landrum passed away January 30, 2017 at the Hospice House of the Carolina Foothills. He was the son of the late Oscar Tillman and Nellie Carruth Bradey and husband of Magdalene Trammel Bradey.

He was in the US Air Force during the Korean conflict, worked in retail sales and was a member of First Baptist Church Landrum.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Naomi Bradey; a son, Jeff Bradey and wife Kathleen; a half-brother, Loran Bradey; a half-sister, Beth Bradey; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by three brothers, Elmer Bradey, Rev. Homer Bradey, Hugh “Whitey” Bradey; two sisters, Nelle Bradey Lee and Grace Bradey Broome.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 2, 2017 at the First Baptist Church Landrum conducted by Rev. Mark Bishop and Rev. Kevin Dalton. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
