The Carolina Foothills Chamber of Commerce recently welcomed Freeburg Pianos of Hendersonville as a new member. Owners Keith and Joann Freeburg of Landrum, S.C. have operated the business since the late 1970s. They tune, repair and rebuild pianos.

Keith is a registered piano technician and member with the Piano Technicians Guild, serving as past president several times. In 2012, they opened their 5,600 square foot showroom in Hendersonville, the largest in western North Carolina and most expansive in the region. Their inventory of 50+ pianos represents three lines of new instruments including Perzina, Mason & Hamlin and Young Chang/Weber as well as pre-owned pianos that are showroom-ready.

Piano lessons are offered daily in their teaching studio. Additionally, the facility houses the Master Works Theatre, which seats 70 and hosts classical, jazz and other performances free of charge. The theater also hosts music recitals and symphony competitions.
