The Lake Adger Book Club donated books to the Columbus Children’s Center again this year. Each December for the past three years the book club has presented each child with his or her own book to take home. Also this year the club presented the center with the big book, “Here Are My Hands,” to use for group reading. The book club’s chair, Kate Bond, right, said, “All of our members love reading and we are happy to give the gift of books to encourage children to make reading a part of their lives.” Bond is pictured with Kelly Chapman, CCC director.
