Tryon Christmas Parade

The Town of Tryon Christmas Parade will be held today at 5 p.m. The festival will include floats, face painting, balloon twisters, refreshments and more.
This is a free event that is being sponsored by the Polk County Community Foundation and the Marjorie M. & Lawrence R. Bradley Endowment Fund.
Trade Street will be closed between New Market and East Howard beginning right at 5 p.m. until the parade ends, typically between 5:45 and 6 p.m.
Lineup is on New Market in the Broadway and Whitney Avenue areas beginning at 4 p.m.
Expect delays in the Godshaw Hill area beginning then.
