You’ve never heard Jingle Bells like this! World-renowned jazz artists Nnenna Freelon and John Brown Trio welcome the holiday season at Tryon Fine Arts Center on Saturday, Dec. 10, at 8 p.m. With more than a dozen Grammy nominations between them, Freelon and Brown will present their signature renditions of beloved jazz standards as well as holiday classics, turning the expected into something quite different and wonderful.

Freelon says of her Yuletide performance, “Music was always a big part of my family Christmas celebrations. These are the songs that we return to again and again every holiday season. They are filled with warm memories. These songs bring me so much joy and warm memories. Christmas for me celebrates the gifts of peace and hope.”
