TTDA, TIEC plan FEI World Equestrian Games informational meeting

Published 10:00 pm Friday, December 2, 2016

The Tryon Tourism Development Authority (TTDA) is working closely with the Tryon International Equestrian Center (TIEC) to host an important community meeting regarding the FEI World Equestrian Games 2018. The meeting will be held at the Tryon Fine Arts Center, 34 Melrose Avenue, on Wednesday, Dec. 7 at 1 p.m.

Tryon Tourism specifically requested this informational meeting to be held in Tryon, as our town is poised to gain even more notoriety, visitors and economic gain. The Tryon Tourism Development Authority’s board and town commissioners have started planning to help historic downtown Tryon host visitors to this premier event.

Additional tourism initiatives, marketing, publicity and welcome events are in the works as the board works very closely with TIEC staff. With two years to plan, the TTDA will keep the local community updated on promotional opportunities and more.
