Columbus Police Department October report

During the month of October 2016, the Columbus Police Department answered 548 calls for service.

There were four felony arrests, 14 misdemeanor arrests, three driving while impaired arrests, one fugitive arrest, 16 speeding citations, four no operator’s license, three driving while license revoked, 12 drug charges, four uninsured motorists, three careless and reckless driving and 10 registration violations.

Officers completed 7,787 premise checks, including 127 residence checks, 7,442 business checks and 218 church checks.

Officers assisted other agencies 15 times, completed 279 community patrols and received a total of 152 hours of training.
