William Sherman, 81, of Mill Spring, N.C. died Nov 11, 2016. Surviving him are his wife, Mary Sherman; a son, William Sherman, III of Landrum, S.C.; a daughter, Helen Blackwell of Mill Spring, N.C.; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. A service will be held at 2 p.m., Nov. 19 in Midway Baptist Church.
