Brenda Dianne Hodge Vaughan, 68, of Atlanta, Ga., passed away November 14, 2016 at Smith Phayer Hospice House in Landrum, S.C.

She was born in Rutherfordton, N.C. on March 31, 1948 to Ruby C. Hodge and the late Shuford J. Hodge.

Survivors include husband, Michael Vaughan; brothers, Larry S. Hodge (Sondra) of Tryon, N.C., Roger “Butch” Hodge (Alma) of Ellenboro, N.C. and Ronnie C. Hodge (Tammy) of Rutherfordton, N.C.; nephews, Allen Hodge and Brian Hodge (Wanda); niece, Renee H. Howard (Kelvin); great nephews, Riley and Owen Howard and a great niece, Ellen Howard.

A memorial service will be held at a later date for family and friends in Tryon, N.C. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, 260 Fairwinds Road, Landrum, SC 29365.
