Polk District Court results for Nov. 2

In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2016, with Judge Athena F. Brooks presiding, 146 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Jennifer C. Allsbrook was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Allsbrook was fined $40 and court costs.

Brittany D. Blackwell was convicted of two counts of possession of stolen goods/property. Blackwell was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, $145 in restitution and court costs.

Luca Ewing-Macchietto was convicted of rear seat belt violation. Ewing-Macchietto was fined $100.

John D. Fuller Jr. was convicted of failure to notify DMV of address change. Fuller was fined $50 and court costs.

Raleigh Justin Jackson was convicted of resisting public officer, two counts of possession of marijuana paraphernalia, possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of schedule II controlled substance. Jackson was sentenced to 45 days in jail with credit for time served and court costs.

Cem Lal was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Lal was fined $95 and court costs.

Juan Jose Lergardon was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Lergardon was fined $40 and court costs.

Richard Ellis Warren was convicted of unsafe passing yellow line. Warren was fined $30 and court costs.
