Eleanor Rask Osborn, 96, entered into rest on Oct. 28, 2016. Ellie was predeceased by her parents, John and Angie Rask; and by her husband, Grant Osborn. She is survived by her sons, David Grant and Peter George. She is also survived by her sister Alice; her granddaughters, Jaime, Erica and Rachael; great granddaughter, Aylin; her “adopted” daughter Carlann Scherping; her beloved feline companion Ginger; nieces and nephews, and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at The Episcopal Church of the Transfiguration in Bat Cave, N.C. on Saturday, Nov. 26, at 10 a.m. Memorial contributions may be sent to The Hospice of the Carolinas, 260 Fairwinds Dr., Landrum, SC 29356.

A special thanks to the staff of the Smith Phayer Hospice House in Landrum, S.C. for the loving care they gave our mother.
