Fall brings pumpkin everything, even book characters! For the second year in a row, Sunny View Elementary School hosted a Pumpkin Book Character Contest.  Students and families chose a favorite book character and creatively decorated a pumpkin to look like that character. A winner was chosen from each classroom. First grader Maddy Jarvis is shown with her character, Molly Lou, from “Stand Tall, Molly Lou Melon.” More photos are on page 6. (Submitted by Angela Hall)
