Columbus Police Department report for September

During the month of September 2016, the Columbus Police Department answered 566 calls for service.

There were two felony arrests, 10 misdemeanor arrests, two driving while impaired arrests, one fugitive arrest, 15 speeding citations, six no operators license, 14 drug charges, two uninsured motorists, one careless and reckless driving and 11 registration violations.

Officers completed 7,155 premise checks, including 161 residence checks, 6,778 business checks and 216 church checks.

Officers also assisted other agencies 12 times, completed 276 community patrols and completed 160 training hours.
