Columbus Fire Department report for September

During the month of September 2016, the Columbus Fire Department responded to 97 calls for service.

Calls included 56 medical calls, two fire alarms, three structure fires, two brush fires, four vehicle fires, two fuel spills/Hazmat, three motor vehicle accidents with injuries, eight motor vehicle accidents without injuries, two no incidents found, two trees down without power lines, three stranded motorists, six calls for public service, two smoke complaints, one structure fire in the Saluda Fire District and one rescue call in the Green Creek Fire District. Firefighters worked a total of 198 hours and completed 216 training hours during the month of September.
