Polk County Officials are actively searching for 66 year old Ronald Van Patterson of Polk County.   Patterson suffers from severe dementia and walked away from his residence on Phillip Henderson Rd in the Green Creek Community.

Patterson may be accompanied by three white German Shepherds and was last seen wearing a gray long sleeve shirt, plaid flannel pants, and brown shoes.  He is 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs approximate 155 pounds.  Anyone with information is urged to contact the Polk County Sheriff’s Office at 828-894-3001.
