William Lawrence Froehlich

William Lawrence Froehlich of Tryon, N.C. passed away on October 24, 2016 at the age of 96.

He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. and was the son of the late Charles and Anna Froehlich. He was preceded by the love of his life, Helen Kalbacher Froehlich, in 1999. William proudly served his country in the Army during WWII. After the war, William worked for the Eastman Kodak Company until his retirement. After his retirement, he and his wife moved to Kississimee, Fla. where he was a member of the American Legion, The Elks Club, and the Moose Lodge. William moved to Tryon, N.C. in 2008 and attended St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.

William is survived by a son, Raymond A. Froehlich; a daughter, Joan McAdam; two grandsons, Bryan McAdam (Hope) and Keith McAdam (Tonya). Also surviving is a great grandson, Eamon McAdam.
