The Discover Columbus Committee and Columbus businesses invite children and adults to downtown on Monday, Oct. 31 for Halloween goodies.

The event will be from 5-7 p.m. on Halloween night, where treats will be distributed to children as they trek around the historic Polk County Courthouse.

Local businesses and organizations will be set up around the new courthouse brick sidewalk giving out treats.

The town encourages any businesses or individuals interested in participating in the event to come out from 5-7 p.m., set up a table and hand out candy.
