Some election considerations

To the editor:
There are many ways to choose leaders. All methods are flawed, including ours, it seems to me.
In the beginning, God chose. Some of us think He still does.
The Biblical record shows that even the ones He chose were flawed: Moses, Jacob, David, Peter . . . not to mention Judas Iscariot. Then there are the famous ones of History, including our Founding Fathers: my hero Tom Jefferson (and my paired hero Charles Lindbergh), or Ben Franklin, infamous as a “womanizer.”
My point? Go ahead and VOTE. No problem if you favor a candidate. But if you are not enthusiastic about any candidate for office, I recommend that you try to choose “the lesser of two evils,” keeping in mind the paragraph above. Not to vote means you cannot join in the unique American privilege of criticizing the ones elected!
